A visit to the Botanical Gardens

It is great to have the Acces-Montreal Card. Today the weather was going up to 18 degrees Celsius, so we decided to take advantage of our free entry privileges to the outside gardens. We wanted to have some good family time as Mike leaves tomorrow for Omaha (until Friday - yes, you caught that right - he gets back only a few hours before our flight to the UK).

A few hundred metres from busy blvd Rosemont, we were able to see robins and ducks, squirrels, a muskrat, a fox, and a very interesting looking reddish-pink bird. Needless to say, the kids had a lot of fun running around. At least, they did until Chloé stuck her foot in a mud hole and went down. Lucky for her, I still carry extra pants around in my bag. She did, however, have to go shoe-less for the remainder of the excursion.
