Laurel and I went to another YAPP at the Carrefour today. I am definitely going to be sorry when this program is over. (Actually, they did extend it by one week, but I'll be missing it because we'll be in Wales with my parents.) We've been talking about discipline for the past couple of weeks, and I have to say that the most encouraging thing is a hand-out she gave us (and then spent several hours explaining) that lists about 20 different discipline strategies you can use. I get so stuck in my rut sometimes, but this gives so many options I wouldn't necessarily think of.

After the YAPP Laurel and I took the kids over to take-out fries, hot dogs (and of course poutine). We went to the park and ate at the picnic table in what I have to say was not particularly warm weather. But we all had fun anyway!

After naptime the kids and I planted pansy seeds in a tub. We'll see how patient they are about waiting for the plants to appear. Luckily we'll be in Wales for most of the waiting time...
