Happy 3rd Birthday Zaco!!

My baby is three today, and he seems to be taking it very seriously. He has been determined since yesterday that now that he is three he will not have any more potty accidents - this is I-can't-tell-you-how encouraging after all the accidents we've had since he went into underwear in June. We'll see how it goes but in fact the past week has been really good. I think missing out on Carrefour afternoons has been motivating for him, despite the fact that we've had some fun times together.

We had our normal chaotic birthday party yesterday. No one else has birthday parties like ours, probably because no one else has guest lists like ours! Everyone else seems content to have four to eight kids over, and well organized games. We don't even try to organize anything except food, because there are far too many people... But anyway, these kids are so social that all they care about is LOTS of friends over. Lucky for us the weather was good, and a succession of parents supervised as many of the kids hung out in back outside.
