This past week

I haven't been keeping up to date on my blog in the last few days...
it's been pretty busy, and the kids have started napping again
properly, so the computer has been out of reach while they are asleep.
We had a nice outing to a country pub on Saturday, and a return to
St. Fagan's and the Museum of Welsh Life on Sunday for May Day. On
Monday we went down to Cardiff Bay in the morning, and then Mike and I
took the opportunity (without the kids!!) to do a tour of Cardiff
Castle in the afternoon. Tuesday we spent the day in Bath (England)
... Wow! I'm a big fan of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, so I just
loved visiting the Roman Baths, the Abbey, the Pump Room and the
Assembly Rooms. Wednesday we visited 'Aunty Jane' (my mother's
friend) in Calne (also England) and had a wonderful lunch with her at
the Soho pub (proving that pub food can be gourmet!). Today was spent
wandering downtown Cardiff, and take-out Chinese with Rebecca and Fred
tonight. Tomorrow will also be close to home (my parents' home!), as
we leave for Scotland very early on Saturday morning.
