We've arrived in Cardiff

It is Sunday morning, and we are headed out to church with my parents.
I am curious to see the Catholic church's response to the new pope,
and am looking forward to meeting many of my parents' new friends.

The kids were really good on the flight Friday to Saturday. My mother
picked us up at the airport yesterday, and we drove the 2 and a half
hours back to Cardiff in their car. The UK is so GREEN! And so many
flowers. We went for a couple of walks yesterday, and I have to say
that Cardiff is VERY beautiful - highly recommended to visit. (Unless
it is just my parents' street? They are fortunate to live in a great
area.)

Marga and Sheila Small (childhood friends, for those who don't know)
are here visiting from London and Cambridge respectively, and it has
been great to see them again. They arrived yesterday afternoon, a
couple of hours after us. Chloe and Zach are having a great time with
them. This afternoon we'll be heading out to the museum of Welsh
life.
