Another busy weekend, and almost no pictures to show for it. (Maybe if I ask nicely Pamela will send me some...)
We headed out to Ottawa on Thursday, because my sister and family along with Marga from the UK were staying there for Michael and Christina's wedding. After a fun morning at the Museum of Civilisation's Children's Museum, Mike and I looked after the four kids at the (very family friendly) hotel Friday night so that Pam, Randy and Marga could go kid-less to the reception.
On Saturday morning we headed back to Montreal with them and busied ourselves with preparing food for the Rhythmes du Monde party we attended at church that night. Clara came along with us (Marc and Laurel had a high-school reunion dinner that night) so quite a big gang headed out from our house at 5pm... Clara ate lots of cool food from around the world and danced up a storm even when Chloé was shy - it was pretty cool! Clara and our friends from church Stéphanie and Alyson came back to our house for a sleepover that night, while Pam, Randy, Marga, Isaac and Graham all drove through the night to their vacation in P.E.I. (We'll see them again next weekend when they drive back.)
Clara's first sleepover went very well, although Chloé and Zaco were very disappointed that she had to go to swimming lessons the next morning instead of coming to church with us. But lo and behold, just as we were driving down the street to head to church, we see a car drive up alongside us and the occupants start waving at us... there was no swimming lesson and Marc and Laurel had rushed Clara back just in time to go to church! Of course Leo wanted to come too (despite the fact that he was still in his PJ's) so Laurel and Marc dropped them both off with us and took time for a coffee together. Quite an adventure!

I snuck in to the bedroom late at night to get this shot of Chloe and Clara!
