Easter weekend

We left Thursday night for New Hampshire and Meme and Pepe's house (a.k.a. Mike's parents or Glenn and Rozy's), a late and exhausting drive made significantly easier by the fact that the kids slept the entire way! Friday we spent some time with Trina, Mehdi, Anissa and Elianne, both in Portsmouth (where they had spent the night due to a power outage at their home) and at their place later on: hunting Easter eggs, relaxing, and eating. I am glad that Zach and Chloe groove in so quickly each time with their old friends Anissa and Mariella (we'll soon see her again too!). The thought that they might forget each other is just too depressing after all the time they spent together when they were little (along with Clara and Leo, of course).

We returned Friday night to Glenn and Rozy's and then spent Saturday with them and also Devon, Seth, Autum and Willow. Paul (Mike's brother) was unfortunately working much of the weekend, but we did see him when we returned to their place on Sunday afternoon. Below you can see the pinata that our family worked hard on in Montreal, and that Mike and I had later secretly filled with chocolate and toys. Our first attempt and we were very proud of it!

We drove home on Monday, stopping as usual at the Tilt'n Diner and the outlets in Tilton for some shopping. Needless to say, we spent the weekend eating far too much and exercising far too little. Soup and salad were all we were in the mood for once we arrived home!
