What a day! We are all exhausted. This morning we left early to go to the Fete des Enfants de Montreal. Good thing we got there when it opened at 9am because the first rides and stalls we visited had hardly any lineups, plus the weather was cool enough for comfort. By the time we left around 1, the sun was beating down hard and the lineups were a good half an hour long. But it was neat - completely unplanned and at various times we ran in to Marc-Andre, Virginia and Natasha; Christine, Antoine, Noah and Nathan; and Dung, Pascale, Coralie and Mathilde (not to speak of their friends Catherine, Vicky and Nicolas whom I've also met several times). Guess it's the place to meet with parents and kids!

Did we go home afterwards? No, we headed over to Parc de la Visitation to celebrate Shilin and Amilcar's birthdays with them before they head off to Europe tomorrow on vacation. The restaurant terrace just inside the park is a really beautiful place to hang out and drink sangria while munching. But we are wiped.
