You know, some days I just really enjoy my kids' company. I always love them like crazy, even in the midst of frustration, but there are quite a number of frustrating days! Today however (so far, anyway!) I'm really enjoying them. Maybe because there's nothing else I'm trying to accomplish at the same time. The TV has only been on long enough for me to shower by myself. They've played on the back terrace for a lot of the day, with various water toys and bubbles, sometimes with me and sometimes without me. We had a nice lunch which they happily ate (that counts for a lot, you know!). Right now they are playing one of their habitual imaginary games with the stuffed animals and little figurines, alternated with jumping on my bed and singing. Toilet training with Zach is even going really well today - all of a sudden he's initiating sometimes, and not fighting me when I initiate. We've enjoyed a snack of ice cream with strawberries and chocolate sauce. And well, they are cute aren't they!!
