Happy Anniversary to us!

So today was our (legal) 9th wedding anniversary. As usual, though it was marked on the calendar, we both forgot to wish each other a Happy Anniversary until the end of the day. It would be nice if I could claim that we do better on the anniversary of the ceremony (the 31st), but that would be false. Mike and I are only good at using our anniversary as an excuse to do something we already want to do. Like have a date. Or go away for a night. Which we are planning on doing next week in New Hampshire, while Pepe and Meme take care of their adorable grandchildren!

What we did do today was our weekly downtown routine. I got some time off while Mike had lunch with Zaco. What was different was that this time I actually got to spend some time with a colleague from that time more than 4 years ago when I worked (hah! I didn't know yet what work really was!) for a living. So here we are with Christine at the Eaton Centre...
