Last night we left the kids with Derek and Susan watching 'Madagascar' and took off to listen to Dr. Gordon Neufeld speak about his new book 'Holding on to your Kids: Why Parents need to matter more than Peers'. Talk about 2 hours packed with material that is relatively revolutionary for Mike and I (but it did make a lot of sense to us...)! Now we have to figure out just how we implement what we heard. I have Dr. Neufeld's book, so hopefully that will help me figure it all out.
