We're back!
We left December 23rd for our mini-vacation. We spent Christmas Eve with Mike's family in New Hampshire, drinking yummy home-made eggnog, catching up, and of course opening gifts. Here's the silliest fairy princess I ever saw...

This is what WE were doing on Christmas Day... driving to Washington D.C.

Surprisingly enough, I really enjoyed Washington (in fact, I think I could LIVE there, and I don't say that about many places in the USA!). The kids had a great time at the different museums and the zoo (all free!). Here they are posing at the National Air and Space Museum.

Of course, the real reason we were there was for Ann Marie and Mark's wedding. We very much enjoyed the time with their family and friends, as well as the time we spent just the four of us. Since this is my blog too, here's the most recent in a long line of pictures of me with Ann Marie.

Ann Marie didn't plan for a flower girl, but Chloé was so excited by the fact that both she and Ann Marie were wearing DRESSES TOGETHER that Ann Marie kind of got one anyway!

OK, and for all you people that want to see what the groom looks like... here he is (and he's awesome!)

We can't wait to go back to Washington in a few years (when the kids can appreciate more)... it is a very interesting and friendly place to be. Thanks to Natasha and Jennifer for suggesting we make this a real family vacation.
